Gallery COMMON presents a collaborative exhibition between Dutch artist Boris Tellegen (also known as DELTA) and Japanese ceramic brand MARUHIRO. Tellegen is recognized as a pioneer in the European graffiti scene, where he has been active since the 1980s. In this new collaboration, Tellegen has teamed up with MARUHIRO’s Nagasaki-based pottery brand BARBAR, which specializes in creating the traditional hasamiyaki porcelain of the region. This beautiful series of ceramics and flower vases is based upon the theme of "blue, white, and traditional” in homage to the classic color palette of porcelain, and is created with traditional painting and glazing techniques.
