Ida Ekblad (b. Oslo, Norway 1980) is a multidisciplinary artist whose vibrant work spans painting, sculpture, poetry, and installation. She has garnered widespread international acclaim and strong institutional support, with four major European museum shows in the last 5 years. Known for her bold use of color and expressive gestural surfaces, she draws inspiration from a wide range of sources including street art, pop culture, folk traditions, and historical movements like CoBrA and Abstract Expressionism.
